UP CM Yogi Adityanath has set up a three-member special investigation team to probe the Hathras gangrape incident. The team has been asked to submit its report within 7 days. The chief minister has also directed that the case should be tried in a fast-track court. All the four accused in the horrific gangrape case are in police custody. The victim's family has demanded a judicial probe saying that they don't trust UP police.&nbsp;The CM also tweeted that PM Modi&nbsp;spoke to him about the case and said that the culprits must get strict punishment.&nbsp;

Need to focus on 60 districts in 7 states that have high numbers: PM

While holding a meeting with chief ministers of 7 states that have the highest Covid-19 case load in the country, Prime Minister Narendra&nbsp;Modi&nbsp;said that there are over 700 districts in India but only 60 districts in 7 states are reporting worrying numbers. He suggested that the chief ministers of these states hold virtual conferences with district-level officials for 7 days and directly seek reports from them. He also asked the chief ministers to adopt best practices from other states.&nbsp;
The Prime Minister said even though number of recoveries was rising in the country it was important to increase&nbsp;focus on effective testing, tracing and treatment.&nbsp;

Britain's top medical advisors&nbsp;have alerted their government and asked it impose stricter restrictions&nbsp;to check the spread of the pandemic.&nbsp;
While the UK is witnessing a similar&nbsp;Covid&nbsp;infection rate as that in May, Chief Medical officer Chris Whitty on Monday cautioned that without further restrictions the country&nbsp;could see 50,000 new cases per day by mid-October.
The medical advisors&nbsp;also pointed out that the challenge for Britain is to make sure that the doubling time does not stay at 7 days. Last week PM Boris Johnson raised fears of a second wave of the pandemic beginning its sweep across the UK.&nbsp;

While Facebook&nbsp;has mostly been criticised about its policies on political ads,&nbsp;CEO Mark Zuckerberg&nbsp;said that the new policies are aimed&nbsp;towards reducing chances of violence and unrest.
Meanwhile, many have criticised new&nbsp;regulations, calling it a PR Stunt.
