Twitter has rolled out support for 4K images on its smartphone apps for both Android and iOS devices. Users now have the ability to upload and view images at up to 4K resolution. Previously, resolution for images on Twitter was reportedly limited to 2,048 x 2,048 pixels.

Sony has launched the Bravia X80J series of televisions in India. The range features smart TVs from 43 inches in size, all the way to 75 inches, but the company has only brought the 65-inch model to India for now. The series gets 4K HDR LCD displays and run on the X1 4K HDR processor with Google TV. There's built-in microphones for Google Assistant, and there's also support for Apple Home Kit and AirPlay. Moreover, the X80J series comes with Dolby Vision, Doby Atmos and DTS Digital Surround on the two 10W speakers. While pricing for the entire range is yet to be revealed, the 65-inch model reportedly costs around ₹1.3 lakh, with availability expected to be announced soon.

Amazon has launched its first ever televisions under the AmazonBasics brand exclusively in India. There's two sizes on offer, 50-inch and 55-inch, with both featuring 4K HDR LED displays that support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos formats. They run Amazon's Fire TV OS on a quad-core Amlogic processor and house a 20W speaker. The 50-inch model costs ₹29,999, while the 55-inch model costs ₹34,999.

Nokia 43 inch TV review

Nokia has been a household name in the smartphone business for decades jumping from Symbian to Windows Phone and now running on Android. In 2019, the brand delved into the TV space with the launch of a 55-inch TV. In 2020, it expanded that portfolio with the launch of a 43-inch and 65-inch TV. The design, UI and overall appeal of the TV are the same across its screen sizes. The 43-inch Nokia TV costs Rs 31,999 as of writing this review. At the same price point, one can get a 43-inch FHD TV from brands like Sony while brands like Xiaomi, Kodak, Thomson and more offer users a 50-inch 4K HDR TV at about 30K. The price leaves the Nokia TV in a precarious position. 43-inch 4K HDR TV from budget brands are 5-7 thousand rupees cheaper while 55-inch inch 4K HDR TVs are a few thousand rupees more expensive than the 43-inch Nokia TV. The Nokia TV does bring with it features like speakers powered by JBL, an ADS panel and of course, the Nokia brand name. But is it worthy of the asking price, or should you consider the cheaper budget alternatives?
