'Accused BJP&nbsp;leaders in fact tried to stop mosque demolition,' the CBI&nbsp;judge noted while acquitting&nbsp;the accused. Here are some other observations from the historic Babri&nbsp;Masjid verdict.&nbsp;

Rejecting claims of 351 witnesses and 600 documents that the CBI had submitted as evidence, the judgement also notes that there is not much proof against the accused which included BJP veterans LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi. The judge noted that the authencity of audios and videos submitted by the CBI can't be proven. Noting that the audio of their speeches were not clear, Judge Yadav went on to note that ant-social elements tore down the mosque and the accused leaders had in fact tried to stop them.&nbsp;&nbsp;

With the Supreme Court setting August 31 as the deadline and later extending it by a month for the CBI court to give its verdict&nbsp;in&nbsp;Babri&nbsp;demolition, the trial court started day-to-day hearing to complete the task in time.&nbsp;The central agency produced 351 witnesses and 600 documents as evidence before the court. Charges were framed against 48 people, but 17 have died during the course of trial.&nbsp;The trial under the serious criminal conspiracy charges commenced against the&nbsp;accused&nbsp;after having been dropped by the trial court in 2001. The verdict was upheld by the Allahabad High Court in 2010, but the apex court ordered restoration of the conspiracy charge against them on April 19, 2017.&nbsp;The top court ordered daily hearing in the high-profile case and directed the special judge to conclude it in two years.&nbsp;

Judge SK Yadav has directed all accused to remain present in the court on the day of judgment.&nbsp;Prominent among the 32 accused are former deputy prime minister L K Advani and BJP leaders M M Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharti and Vinay Katiyar. The CBI has produced 351 witnesses and about 600 documentary evidence before the court. The Babri mosque in Ayodhya was demolished by karsevaks on December 6, 1992.&nbsp;
