Here's what BCCI is doing to counter fixing in IPL

Sportradar&nbsp;to provide a risk assessment to the BCCI driven by intelligence and data-driven insights.

Since the BCCI&nbsp;was forced to take the IPL&nbsp;outside&nbsp;India, the Indian board has partnered with&nbsp;Sportradar to detect betting irregularities during the cash-rich league. According to a report&nbsp;in livemint,&nbsp;a press release said that&nbsp;Sportradar will also provide a risk assessment to the BCCI driven by intelligence and data-driven insights. IPL, which starts from September 19 will see 60 games being played across 3 venues in UAE.

Mental health in a bio-bubble for IPL stars

How tough it is for IPL-bound players to maintain&nbsp;their mental health&nbsp;in such unprecedented environment?

The Indian Premier League amid the Covid-19 pandemic seemed highly unlikely until UAE&nbsp;approached the BCCI&nbsp;to host the cash-rich league. Cricket was brought to a standstill but UAE&nbsp;government's assurance of a bio-secure bubble with precautions&nbsp;of the highest level, raised hope and the Indian government finally gave IPL&nbsp;a nod. As per the standard operating procedures, it was mandatory for all the players and staff members to undergo a 7-day quarantine which included Covid-19&nbsp;tests on every alternate day before training resumed for all the franchises.
