A defiant Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit back at the BJP after two top leaders of the saffron party targeted him and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra over the rape of a 6-year-old Dalit girl in Congress-ruled Punjab. Responding to the attack by union ministers Niramala Sithraman and Prakash Javedekar, who asked the brother-sister duo why they hadn’t visited the girl’s family in Hoshiarpur like they had in Hathras in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, Rahul in a twitter post wrote that unlike the Yogi Adityanath government, the Congress governments in Rajasthan and Punjab were not denying that the girls were raped, and their families weren’t threatened and the course of justice wasn’t blocked. He wrote if the Congress governments behave like the BJP government in UP, he will visit the two states and fight for the justice of the victims.
