J&K: Gupkar signatories to meet in Srinagar today

The signatories of the Gupkar declaration have decided to meet on Thursday afternoon to discuss future strategy in Srinagar. The signatories will meet in the afternoon at the residence of former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah. This will be the third joint meeting of political parties who are officially the part of Gupkar declaration. The signatories are National Conference, Peoples Democratic Party, People’s Conference, Congress and other parties. Reports said PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti who was released on Monday after over 14 months will attend the meeting. BJP and Altaf Bukhari-led Apni Party are opposing the Gupkar declaration.
