Cristiano Ronaldo and records have become synonymous affair as the Portuguese captain set yet another record, but this time off the field.
Ronaldo added another feather to his cap as the Manchester United star became the first individual to hit 500 million followers on the social media app, Instagram.
The 37-year-old has more than 105 million followers on Twitter and is the most followed athlete on social media.
The record-breaking Portuguese has over 120 million followers more than the Argentinean veteran Lionel Messi who is the second most followed individual on Instagram at 375 million followers.
