Pakistan hold its nerves to beat Bangladesh in a low-scoring 1st T20

Pakistan's road to World T20 2022 began with a nervy 4-wicket win vs Bangladesh in the 1st T20 in Dhaka on Friday. 

Batting first, The Bangla Tigers were restricted to 127/7. Hasan Ali, who was at the receiving end after a crucial drop catch in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2021, turned out to be the pick of the bowlers With figures of 3/22. Chasing which Babar Azam's men were reduced to 96/6. But counter-attack by Shahdab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz helped Pakistan cross the finish line with 4 balls to spare.

Pakistan now lead the 3-match T20 series 1-0, with the last 2 games also due to be played in Dhaka.
