The Arvind Kejriwal government is expected to appoint MLAs Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj as ministers after the resignation of Delhi ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain from the Cabinet after their arrests in corruption cases.

Chief Minister Kejriwal has sent the requisite documents for Atishi and Bhardwaj's appointments to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, according to sources quoted by NDTV.

Bhardwaj is also vice-chairman of the Delhi Jal Board, while Atishi was an advisor to Sisodia on education between 2015 and 2017.
