Hathras case: FIR against Bhim Army chief after he met victim's family

A case has been registered against Bhim Army chief Chandrashekar Azad and 400 others after he visited Hathras in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday to meet the family of the 20-year-old Hathras Dalit girl who was gangraped and later died in Delhi last week. An FIR was filed under multiple sections of the IPC and Epidemic Diseases Act, for violation of Section 144 CrPC in Hathras. Azad had marched for about five km after he was stopped by the police first when he was on his way. Later, he was stopped again by the UP Police when he held a massive protest after entering Hathras.
