Google, Apple, Microsoft, Intel and other big American tech firms are reportedly pushing to preserve a program that lets the spouses of H1-B visa holders legally work in the US. Nearly 30 companies have submitted their support of the H-4 policy, in a lawsuit that challenges the program. Reports say a federal court in Washington is expected to rule on the suit in the coming months.
