Shokz has announced its Diwali sale in India, with discounts on its open-ear and bone-conduction headphones across Amazon, Flipkart and select offline stores. The sale runs from October 8 to November 10 and covers products built for running, swimming, fitness and everyday listening.
The company’s open-ear headphones sit outside the ear canal instead of sealing it, which allows users to hear ambient sound while listening to music or taking calls. That makes them particularly relevant for runners, cyclists and commuters who do not want to block out their surroundings completely.
The Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 is available at ₹14,399, down from ₹17,999. It is offered in Black, Silver and Orange colour options, and uses the company’s DualPitch bone-and-air-conduction audio setup. Other claimed highlights include up to 12 hours of battery life and USB-C charging.
For swimmers, the Shokz OpenSwim Pro is available for ₹16,099, reduced from ₹18,999. It has an IP68 water-resistance rating, 32GB of built-in MP3 storage and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The model is available in Red and Grey.
The built-in storage is particularly useful for swimming, where Bluetooth connectivity can be unreliable underwater. Users can load music directly onto the headphones instead of carrying a phone by the pool.
The previous-generation Shokz OpenRun Pro has received the biggest discount in the range, dropping to ₹10,999 from ₹15,999. That is a 31% reduction, though the model is exclusive to Amazon.
The standard Shokz OpenRun is selling for ₹10,799, down from ₹13,499. It offers the company’s eighth-generation bone-conduction technology and an IP67 rating for sweat and water resistance.
Meanwhile, the more affordable Shokz OpenMove is priced at ₹7,499 during the sale, compared to its regular ₹9,999 price. It is the entry point into Shokz’s open-ear range and is aimed at casual workouts, walks and daily use.
Unlike regular in-ear earbuds, Shokz headphones leave the ear canal unobstructed. Bone-conduction models transmit sound through vibrations against the cheekbones, allowing listeners to remain aware of traffic, conversations, announcements and emergency sirens.
That approach will not suit everyone. Traditional earbuds generally offer stronger passive isolation and can be a better choice in noisy indoor settings. But open-ear headphones solve a different problem: listening without becoming detached from the environment around you.
The offers are live on Amazon and Flipkart. Shokz products will also be available through select Croma and sports stores, as well as its Triathlete Hub stores on Brigade Road and in HSR Layout, Bengaluru.
