Vaani Kapoor is someone who never shies away from experimenting with roles. In her last released film ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,’ co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, she played the role of a transwoman. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Vaani Kapoor is now all set to play a porn star lookalike in the film ‘Sarvagunn Sampanna,' which is being produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
A source told the publication that the social comedy film will be set in the 90s and will see Vaani playing a strong, bold, dignified woman fighting for her integrity and exposing the poor mentality of the Indian patriarchal society all along.
Shonali Rattan, wife of Kunal Deshmukh, will mark her directorial debut with this film. She previously assisted her husband in films like 'Jannat,' 'Tum Mile,' and 'Shiddat.'
Apart from this film, Vaani Kapoor will feature opposite Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Shamshera,’ which is scheduled to be released on July 22. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt in a pivotal role.
