'The Romantics': Ranbir Kapoor talks about 'DDLJ'; says 'it influenced the way I spoke to a girl'

Netflix has unveiled the new promo for the docu-series 'The Romantics' in which Ranbir Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurana shared their memories with the viewers' all-time favorite 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'  while Kajol talked about her experience shooting for 'DDLJ'. Sharing the promo, Netflix wrote, 'It's been almost 3 decades but DDLJ still lives in our minds rent-free!!'

In the video, Ranbir Kapoor said the film has been the defining film of their generation. He said, 'DDLJ has been the defining film of our generation! I can't even tell you that feeling is still alive inside me. It Influenced the way I dressed. It influenced the way I spoke to a girl. It influenced how I was with my parents… everything!'

Ayushmann Khurrana talked about 'DDLJ' and said 'I was, like, in the film. I want to just go inside and just be one of the characters in the film.' Talking about her shooting experience Kajol added, 'Oh my God! The breeze was supposed to be blowing this way, but the breeze was blowing in the wrong direction. And it was so hot.'

‘The Romantics’- a four-part docu-series is a tribute to legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra and his production house Yash Raj Films. The docu-series will feature 35 leading voices of Indian cinema, including superstars who have closely worked with YRF through its existence, and dive into the history of Bollywood through the lens of YRF’s impact in making Bollywood and its leading stars a household name globally, the streamer said in a release. It releases on February 14.
