The much-awaited trailer of Ranbir Kapoor's forthcoming film 'Shamshera' was launched today. At a press conference, the actor said that the year 2022 is turning out to be a memorable one for him as he married Alia Bhatt and has two back-to-back releases. He added that his films 'Shamshera' and 'Brahmastra: Part One Shiva' are his wedding gifts to his fans.
Referring to the famous dialogue of his 2013 film 'Yeh Jawani hai Deewani,' in which the actor said that marriage is like 'dal chawal for pachaas saal till you die,' the actor said that he can now vouch that 'dal-chawal' is the best. He added that his life with Alia is the best. It has dal chawal with tadka, pickle, and onions.
'I couldn't have asked for a better life partner,' Ranbir Kapoor said.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt married in April this year in an intimate wedding ceremony.
Ranbir Kapoor's 'Shamshera' has been directed by Karan Malhotra and backed by Yash raj Films. It also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles.
'Shamshera' is set to hit the theatres on July 22 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
