Former India captain Sourav Ganguly is the next cricketer whose life will be portrayed on the big screen.
In an interview with News 18, Sourav Ganguly confirmed that he has finally agreed for a biopic but did not reveal the name of the director.
Ganguly also mentioned that actor Ranbir Kapoor might play the lead role and there are two more actors on the list as well.
According to reports, the biopic is being made under a big banner-production house with a budget of around ₹200 crore to ₹250 crore. The script of the film is still being written.
From his days as a young cricketer and becoming the captain of the Indian team to his historic win at the Lords and finally becoming the president of the BCCI, the film will cover all facets of Sourav Ganguly's life.
