Footballers from Zenit FC took the beautiful game to a notch cuter with this adorable gesture. The stars of the Russian club walked out with dogs from a local shelter urging their fans to adopt some furry friends.

The dogs looking for a forever home were held close to the heart by footballers as announcements were made in the stadium giving details of all rescue centres.
This isn't the first such attempt by footballers to get their furry friends adopted, earlier, Romanian footballers did something similar by launching a campaign called "Fill the void in your life" promoting the adoption of rescue dogs.
