Twitter has announced on Wednesday that it's resumed the process of accepting user applications for verifying their Twitter profiles. The verification request process had been restarted on May 20 after a gap of over four years. Users that can have their accounts verified and sport the blue tick as long as they belong to six different categories, including governments, journalists and other influential individuals.
