The government is unhappy with the behaviour of the wrestlers after they openly expressed their disappointment over the formation of the oversight committee, Sports Ministry sources said.

The source told PTI that the ministry has no plans to reconstitute the 5 member oversight committee which will probe the allegations against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh and overlook the day-to-day activity of WFI.

As per reports, the protesting wrestlers consider the London Olympics bronze medallist Yogeshwar Dutt, one of the members of the committee, close to the WFI president.

Wrestler Bajrang Punia, however, later clarified that while the grapplers wanted a member of their choice on the committee, they don't have an issue with Yogeshwar. They expected to be consulted before the members were finalised, he added.
