PM Modi interacts with Indian shuttlers after their historic Thomas Cup gold

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has interacted with Indian shuttlers after their spectacular performance in the Thomas and Uber Cup 2022.

The prime minister shared a video of his interaction with Indian shuttlers on his Twitter handle.

Talking about his experience in the tournament with the Prime Minister, Kidambi Srikanth said, It was such a privilege to play and win the decider and he just wanted to play hard in the match as it was a golden opportunity for him and the team to win the tournament.

The World Championships 2022 bronze medalist Lakshya Sen gave Uttarakhand's famous sweet Bal Mithai to PM Modi and said that PM Modi knows that Almora's bal mithai is very famous, so he had asked Sen to get it. 

Earlier, India made the history to win Thomas Cup 2022 for the very first time after defeating 14-time champions Indonesia by 3-0.
