Umran Malik who was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of IPL 15 received a lot of praise from former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri. Speaking to Star Sports, Shastri made a statement on the pacer on Tuesday after Umran's impressive performance against Rajasthan Royals where he finished with figures of 2/39.
Shastri said that Umran is very talented, he has a genuine pace and if he hits the right areas, he is going to trouble a lot of batters. Shastri further said that the young pacer needs to be handled properly and he could be a part of team India as a net bowler at the start so he gets a feel of team culture.
