IND vs SL 2nd ODI: KL Rahul anchors India to a 4-wicket win, clinch series

Team India had to grind it out in Kolkata but courtesy of a KL Rahul classic, the hosts beat Sri Lanka by 4-wickets in the 2nd ODI and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.

Despite winning the toss, the visitors were bowled out for a mere 215. Kuldeep Yadav justified his selection with 3 wickets.

Chasing which, the hosts found themselves in trouble at 86/4. That's when KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya stitched together a 75-run stand. While Hardik was out for 36, Rahul carried on an took India over the finish line with an unbeaten 64.

It was not only India's 10th series win vs Sri Lanka at home but the Men in Blue have now won 23 of the last 25 bilateral ODI series in their own den.
