As defending champions France takes on Poland in a high-octane round of 16 clash on December 4 at the Al Thumama Stadium in the ongoing FIFA World Cup, coach Didier Deschamps heaped praise on Poland captain Robert Lewandowski.

Ahead of the match, Deschamps said that France is wary of the dangerous threat that the Polish captain will pose when the two teams meet on Sunday.

The French coach also said that the Barcelona forward is a very clinical striker and is technically very gifted.

Lewandowski has scored one goal in the group stage of the tournament and would be looking for a better performance against the defending champions to go through to the next round.
