The new changes brought to the game of cricket by the Marylebone Cricket Club have received a convincing nod by the cricket great Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar lauded both the new rules that MCC brought which include phasing out of the Mankading rule and the new batter facing the bowler after the previous one is caught.

Appreciating the move, Tendulkar released a video about it, in which he said that the changes brought by the MCC are praiseworthy. Calling Mankading unfair, the Mumbai-born Indian cricketing legend said, 'I was always uncomfortable with that particular dismissal being called mankaded and I am really happy that it is changed to run out.

He also spoke about the other rule change and said that the new batter facing the bowler after the latter has dismissed the previous batter is absolutely fair. Explaining it further, he added, 'if a bowler has been successful in picking a wicket it is only fair that a bowler gets a chance to bowl a new batter.
