Indian cricketers Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik found themselves in the line of fire by a few fans after a video showing the duo refusing to apply tilak on their forehead as Team India checks into a hotel went viral.
However, the video soon received backlash by a larger section of fans and experts who came out in support of the cricketers stating that they were unnecessarily targetted.
The video also shows batting coach Vikram Rathour and one of the support staff members have also refused to apply the tilak.
