BCCI sent its Future Tour Programme (FTP) for the 2023-27 cycle to all the state associations. The Indian board, however, kept the columns against Pakistan blank!

This apparently indicates that the Men in Blue and the Pakistani side will not play a bilateral series against each other until 2027 at least.

BCCI cannot take any decision regarding playing against the Men in Green until it gets approval from the Indian Government.

In the next 4-year cycle, the Indian men's team is scheduled to play 38 Tests (20 home, 18 away), 42 ODIs (21 home and away each) and 61 T20Is (31 home and 30 away)

While the number of bilateral matches has come down from 163 to 141 in comparison to the previous cycle, BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that the quality of the content would improve. In the next cycle, India will play 5 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is vs England and Australia on a home and away basis, he added.
