Ahead of the first T20I against South Africa, Team India went through their first practice session at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Monday. The team practiced hard under the watchful eyes of head coach Rahul Dravid and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey.

The practice started with warm-ups and fielding drills, followed by batting and bowling sessions.

However, all eyes were on India's pace-sensation Umran Malik and new death bowling specialist Arshdeep Singh. Mhambrey spent considerable time with both youngsters as specific bowling drills were put in place for them.

Captain KL Rahul, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Bhuvneshwar Kumar among other members of the squad were seen working out in the nets as well.

The five-match series between India and South Africa will start on Thursday in New Delhi.
