After helping India win the second Test against Bangladesh in Mirpur, R Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer made significant gains in ICC's latest Test rankings.
Following his 6-wicket haul in Mirpur Test, Ashwin moved up one spot and is joint-fourth among bowlers while Iyer attained his career-best 16th position in the batters list.

However, despite his player of the series performance in Bangladesh, Cheteshwar Pujara slipped three places to 19th, while senior batter Virat Kohli dropped two places from 12th to 14th after a lacklustre show in the neighbouring country.
