While Steve Smith made history with his fourth Allan Border medal at the Australian Cricket awards, David Warner was chosen as the Men's ODI cricketer of the Year. Marcus Stoinis bagged the honours in T20Is and Usman Khawaja won the inaugural Shane Warne Award for the best Men's Test player of the year.
Among the women cricketers, there was double delight for Beth Mooney, who was chosen as the Women's ODI Cricketer of the year and also won the Belinda Clark award given to the best women's player of the year.
Tahlia McGrath, who was named the ICC Women's T20I Cricketer of the Year, took home its Australian equivalent at the gala event in Sydney.
