RSS now sets sights on crypto and OTT, Mohan Bhagwat calls for regulation

After hitting out on Amazon and Infosys, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) has it's sight set on OTT platforms and cryptocurrency next. Mohan Bhagwat, chief of the the ideological parent of the BJP called for curbs on streaming platforms and cryptocurrencies. 

"There is a need to regularise these things for the larger good of the society." said the RSS chief while addressing an audience on the occasion of Dussehra.

Speaking specifically on digital tokens Mohan Bhagwat emphasised, "A currency like bitcoin - I don't know which country controls it or which rules govern it. The government should do it. It has to do it."

The Finance Ministry is currently working on a bill that regulates the growing trade of cryptocurrency as concerns of money laundering via these platforms are on the rise.
