According to a report from market research firm techARC, Amazon claimed the top spot in smart speaker sales in India for 2020. With the segment crossing 1 million shipments in the country for the first time ever, Amazon secured 79% market share by volume thanks to its Echo Dot. The 3rd generation of the speaker topped sales, with the 4th generation speaker coming in second, followed by Google's Home Mini and Xiaomi's Mi Smart Speaker L09G.
