Like the PS4, Sony’s PS5 console allows users to stream gameplay through any device they own, using the Remote Play function. Until now, only the PS4’s DualShock 4 controller could be used for this functionality, as the PS5 controller did not support pairing with a wide range of devices.

The PS5’s DualSense controller can now be used to stream PS5 gameplay across Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV devices running the latest OS.

However, reports indicate that haptic feedback does not work through remote play, and streaming quality will depend on the speed of the user’s own internet.
