Navjot Sidhu: Post or no post will stand by Rahul & Priyanka Gandhi

Navjot Sidhu has declared he ‘will stand by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’ irrespective of whether or not he holds a post.

Earlier this week, his decision to step down as Punjab Congress chief had spelt more trouble for the party struggling to tackle infighting ahead of the 2022 state polls.

 Sidhu vowed to "uphold the principles of Gandhiji and Shastriji" and indicated his commitment to ensuring the Congress wins in the upcoming elections.

He further wrote that ‘with every ounce of positive energy he will ‘make Punjab, Punjabiyat & every punjabi win’.

Meanwhile, ,making a veiled attack on former chief minister Amarinder Singh over security concerns, Punjab Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Friday assured everyone that the state is in safe hands and said there is no need to create panic.
