The political fight over the movie 'The Kerala Story' intensified on May 9, 2023.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the film will be made tax-free in the state.
His declaration came a day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee banned the movie in her state.
She said the decision was taken to prevent incidents of hatred and violence.
