Watch: Plane overshoots runway at Jabalpur airport; had over 50 people onboard; no injuries

In a frightening incident, an airplane carrying over 50 passengers overshot the runway at an airport in Madhya Pradesh. The incident occurred on March 12 when an Alliance Air plane., carrying 55 passengers from Delhi, landed at the Jabalpur airport.

Luckily, none of the passengers or crew members were hurt. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has reportedly initiated an inquiry into the incident.

The plane was an ATR-72 aircraft, and had departed from Delhi at 11:30 am, arriving in Jabalpur at 1:15 pm, as per reports. Following the incident, operations at the airport were reportedly suspended for a few hours.
