In a deadly mishap in Delhi, the roof of a building collapsed on 9 October 2022, killing a 4-year-old girl, and injuring at least 9 others.
The incident occurred in Farash Khana in central Delhi's Lahori Gate area. Fire services received a call about the roof collapse around 7:30 pm.
Firefighters were soon joined by a National Disaster Response Force team to rescue those trapped under the debris. Officials said that the rain was hampering search and rescue operations.
While 4-year-old Khushi died, nine injured persons were admitted to Lok Nayak hospital for treatment.
