Bad weather in many north Indian cities affected flight operations on the morning of 21 December 2022, as per news agency ANI.

The Delhi airport said that flights were either being diverted or returning from cities like Chandigarh, Varanasi, and Lucknow. At least 3 flights were affected.

Delhi airport officials added that visibility at Delhi airport is normal, and flight operations are smooth. A day earlier, Delhi had been covered by a dense fog, and the airport had launched low visibility procedures.

The Indian Meteorological Department on 21 December said that satellite imagery showed the continuation of a dense fog layer from Punjab and northwest Rajasthan to eastern Uttar Pradesh, across Haryana.
