Did BJP's Tejasvi Surya open IndiGo plane's emergency exit moments before take off? Report claims this.

A report in The News Minute has claimed that the passenger who unlocked emergency door of the IndiGo flight was BJP MP Tejasvi Surya.

As per the report, Chennai Airport and DGCA officials confirmed the incident that the emergency door of the plane was accidentally unlocked. However, they refused to divulge any details on the passenger's identity or whether it was Surya.

But the publication quoted an eyewitness saying "It was Tejasvi Surya who opened the exit".  

Another report by The New Indian Express also stated that the Airlines did not comment on the identity but added that the passenger apologised for the incident.
