As the national capital continues to witness a spike in coronavirus cases, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Saturday attacked the Centre, saying the community spread of the deadly virus in the city should have been admitted by now. Jain said only the Central government or the Indian Council of Medical Research can comment on the community spread of coronavirus in Delhi. The health minister also said the doubling rate in Delhi is about 40 days. Delhi's coronavirus tally breached the 2.38 lakh mark on Friday as the national capital detected 4,127 fresh cases while the death toll mounted to 4,907.
