The Special Investigation Team formed by the UP govt to probe the alleged gangrape and murder of a 19-yr-old woman in Hathras visited the victim's village on Tuesday morning. The 3-member probe team visited the crime site and will submit its report on Wednesday, reports said. The Dalit victim was brutally assaulted and tortured by four upper caste men on September 14 in a field where was picking grass. The UP police, accused of mishandling the case and a cover-up, has claimed that the woman was not raped. But the experts have questioned the FSL report denying rape saying that the sample was collected 11 days after the assault.
