A new report by Bloomberg states that the Google Pixel 5a smartphone will launch in August.
References to the device in Android code have revealed that it may feature the Snapdragon 765G SoC, already seen in the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5.

Earlier, rumours had circulated that Google may cancel the Pixel 5a due to the ongoing global chip shortage. However, a Google spokesperson later denied the rumour.
