Facebook's lawsuit against NSO Group gets support from global orgs

Facebook's lawsuit against Israeli surveillance tech firm NSO Group has reportedly gotten support for a coalition of human rights and press freedom groups. Organisations including Amnesty International, Reporters Without Borders and the Internet Freedom Foundation have alleged that NSO Group's Pegasus spyware has been used by "repressive regimes...for insidious ends". Facebook's lawsuit accuses Pegasus of reverse engineering its WhatsApp messaging service to send spyware to the around 1,400 people.
