The Hindi version of S S Rajamouli's period action epic 'RRR' has now become the 'most popular film from India' on Netflix globally. It released on the streaming platform on May 20, two months after its worldwide theatrical release. According to Netflix, the film with a runtime of 3 hours and 2 minutes has been viewed for over 45 million hours across the world.

'RRR,' starring Ram Charam and N T Rama Rao Jr, was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, on March 25.
The film narrates a pre-Independence fictional story of two Indian revolutionaries in the 1920s, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Kumram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and N T Rama Rao Jr., respectively. It also features Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Shriya Saran in key roles.
'RRR,' one of the most successful Indian films of 2022, grossed over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. This is S S Rajamouli's third consecutive blockbuster following 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and its 2017 sequel, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion.'
