A bomb blast occurred near an event scheduled to be attended by actor Sunny Leone, according to the news agency PTI.
The explosion took place on 4 February 2023 near a fashion show venue in Imphal, Manipur. Sunny Leone was slated to attend the event on 5 February.
The site of the blast was around 100 metres from the venue. It occurred at around 6:30 am.
Officials reportedly said that it was not clear whether the cause of the blast was a grenade or an improvised explosive device (IED).
