The Ayan Mukerji directorial ‘Brahmastra’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, released in theatres on Friday (Sept 9) and it looks like the efforts made by the team have paid off. As per Trade Analyst Ramesh Bala, the film has delivered a massive opening day of ₹ 75 crores gross at the Box office.

The film is reportedly made on a lavish budget of around ₹300 crores, and it released in 5 different languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The film producer Karan Johar is also thrilled by the response the film has received. He took to Instagram and shared the 1st collection along with a gratitude note.
He wrote, ‘Humbled… Grateful…but yet can’t control my excitement!’
'Brahmastra: Part 1- Shiva’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the film.
