The Indian Television Academy Awards were held in Mumbai on Sunday and many celebrities like Anil Kapoor, his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Ananya Panday were among many others who made glamorous appearances on the red carpet.
‘Thar’, starring Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan, won big at the event. The latter bagged Best Actor OTT, while Raj Singh Chaudhary won the Best director award for the film and Shreya Dev Dube won the Best Cinematography award.
‘Thar’, set in the 1980s, had Anil as a cop and Harsh Varrdhan played the role of a mysterious antique dealer. The film also starred Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Neena Gupta won two awards for her web series ‘Panchayat season 2’ - Best actor comedy & Best actor popular.
Varun Dhawan bagged the Best Actor of the Decade award at the event.
Raveena Tandon, Huma Qureshi, Nia Sharma, Disha Parmar, Mahima Chaudhary, Bhagyashree with son and actor Abhimanyu Dassani and daughter Avantika, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri, Sikandar Kher, Jay Bhanushali and veteran actors Jeetendra and Rakesh Roshan also attended the award ceremony.
