Amitabh Bachchan shares similar Janmashtami sequences from his and Abhishek Bachchan's films

Amitabh Bachchan delighted his fans by sharing a video of mirrored Janmasthami celebration scenes from his 1982 movie 'Khud-Daar' and from his son Abhishek Bachchan's film 'Happy New Year'. Fans were amazed to see the uncanny resemblance in both videos. Sharing the video, Big B wrote, 'Aala Re Aala Govinda Aala.'

The video opens with a scene from 'Khud-Daar' in which Amitabh can be seen climbing a human pyramid to break the dahi handi with the song 'Mach Gaya Shor' playing in the background. The video then moves to a scene from 'Happy New Year' in which Abhishek is participating in the same ritual. 

Amitabh's daughter Shweta Bachchan-Nanda was quick to react to his post and she commented that the video made her laugh so much. Many fans commented with heart emoticons on the video and wrote comments such as 'like father like son' and 'Bollywood king of shahenshah'

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next feature in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra', co-starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The film will release on September 9, 2022. His other upcoming projects are 'Goodbye', 'Project K', and 'Uunchai'. 

Abhishek will reportedly be seen in 'SSS 7', remake of Tamil film 'Oththa Seruppu Size 7'. He will also return for the new season of the Prime Video web series 'Breathe: Into the Shadows' next year.
