Just when world seemed to be moving towards normalcy, a new Covid-19 variant has been found.

Israel's ministry of health on Wednesday said it had recorded two cases of new Covid variant. But officials added they were not unduly worried about it, news agency AFP has reported.

The strain combines two sub-variants of the Omicron version of the Covid-19 virus. It was recorded during PCR tests on two passengers arriving at Israel's Ben Gurion airport, report said.
