Bajrang Dal: won't allow Munawar Faruqui to perform in Gujarat

Gujarat's Bajrang Dal leader Jwalit Mehta has warned comedian Munawar Faruqui against performing in the state. 

According to Mehta, Faruqui attacks the Hindu religion with his work and hurts Hindu sentiments with his comedy.

He said Bajrang Dal will not tolerate his anti-Hindu activity and that it knows how to use tit for tat. 

Mehta further warned that if the shows are not cancelled there would be 'physical, financial and mental consequences'. 

Faruqui, a native of Gujarat, announced his new show 'Dongri to Nowhere' and was scheduled to perform in the state from October 1st to 3rd.
