Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday evaded questions on Pakistan's role concerning the Taliban's actions in Afghanistan and sought to pin the blame on "RSS ideology" for stalled talks with India.
Khan, who is in Tashkent for the Central-South Asian Conference, was asked if talks and terror can go together.
"I can tell India that we are for long to live like civilised neighbours, but the ideology of RSS has come in the way, the Pakistani PM told ANI.
In a video put out by ANI, Khan is then seen dodging questions on Taliban. He is seen walking away with his security details as questions regarding Pakistani control over the Taliban were being asked.
As the Taliban fighters are rapidly making advances in Afghanistan and capturing new territories every passing day, the role of Pakistan pertaining to regional security has become a cause of concern.
